Namyong Terminal Public Company Limited received the 2014 Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA)
Mr. Theparak Leungsuwan, Chief Executive Officer of Namyong Terminal Public Company Limited, was a representative to receive the 2014 Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA) from Mrs. Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, Director General Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center on September 24th, 2014.
Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA) is the prestige award that the Department of International Trade Promotion , Ministry of Commerce, grants to entrepreneurs in order to recognize their prominent performance in logistics management. This reward has been continuously granted by the Department of International Trade Promotion for 8 years under the criteria deriving from Malcolm Baldrige Framework, European Framework for Quality Management and Supply Chain Operation Reference Model (SCOR Model). This reward was judged by 10 professional experts.
Upon the efficient business management in every single step of operation, especially in logistics and supply chain areas, which are at world class standard, Namyong Terminal Public Company Limited is able to perfectly response to the customers' needs and was the only contestant who passed the ELMA's criteria and awarded the honorable prize in 2014.
The Department of International Trade Promotion plans to promote Namyong Terminal Public Company Limited both domestic and international countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, etc. as an international standard logistic operator. This is one of the strategic plans to enhance Thailand to become a logistics center of Asian.
